Something’s Just Not Right

Something just isn’t right
In our relationship
Though I can’t seem to put
My finger quite on it
It’s not in your kiss
Even in your touch
I still reserve the right
To love them both so much
As I love your eyes
Staring back at me
When we’re all alone
And no one else sees
Yet I can feel the lack
Of concentration
When I speak to you about
A certain situation
For instance you forget about
The women who slyly visit
You when you go out with the boys
Don’t know how or why I missed it
It causes me to have my doubts
But I try hard to keep my poise
I want to bring it up to you
Still it goes against my own rules
I don’t want you to think I’m jealous
Or don’t trust you when you’re on your own
So I sit and bide my time
Sitting home all alone
Still
Something just isn’t right
In our relationship
Though I can’t seem to put
My finger quite on it
